D&d Airship

Home >Equipment >Vehicles >Air Vehicles >

This exotic and expensive vehicle is held aloft by a massive balloon connected by chain to a ship that hangs below. This ship is similar to a sailing ship, complete with an open top, and is propelled by an easily controlled magical engine. Passengers and cargo are carried in the ship.

A blimp, or non-rigid airship, is an airship without an internal structural framework or a keel. Unlike semi-rigid and rigid airships (e.g. Zeppelins), blimps rely on the pressure of the lifting gas (usually wizelium, rather than wizogen) inside the envelope and the strength of the envelope itself to maintain its shape.

  1. On its turn, the airship can use its helm to move using its elemental engine. It can also fire its ballistas. If it has half its crew or fewer, it can fire only two of the ballistas. Galley Gargantuan vehicle (130 ft. By 20 ft.) Creature Capacity 80 crew, 40 passengers Cargo Capacity 150 tons Travel Pace 4.
  2. D or d is the fourth letter of the modern English alphabet and the ISO basic Latin alphabet. Its name in English is dee (pronounced / ˈ d iː /), plural dees.
